Cover Letter Voice Development

Purpose

Develop authentic cover letter narrative framework grounded in your career philosophy, established narrative patterns, and the job's cultural requirements. This skill creates a complete narrative framework—not a draft letter, but the strategic foundation for writing one.

Invocation Triggers

  • "Develop my cover letter narrative"

Required Inputs

Lexicon Dependencies (must exist):

Process


Phase 0: Lexicon Loading

Load required files:

  1. Identify job slug

    • Ask user: "What is the job slug (directory name) for this application?"
    • Example: "ucla-arts-director"
    • Construct path: ~/career-applications/[job-slug]/
  2. Ask about current work-in-progress (three separate questions)

    Ask these questions one at a time, waiting for response to each:
