Urdu Translator Skill

Purpose: Translate educational content to Urdu while maintaining technical accuracy and pedagogical effectiveness.

When to Use

  • Translating lesson content for Urdu-speaking students
  • Creating Urdu versions of UI text
  • Localizing examples and analogies

Translation Principles

  1. Technical terms: Keep English for standard terms (ROS, URDF, API) with Urdu explanation
  2. Code: Never translate code, only comments and explanations
  3. Analogies: Adapt to culturally relevant examples
  4. Readability: Use conversational Urdu, not formal literary style

Inputs Required

  • English source content
  • Technical term glossary (what to keep in English)
  • Target proficiency level

Output

  • Urdu translation with RTL formatting
  • Preserved code blocks
  • Technical terms with Urdu explanations in parentheses
