Core Principle
Optimize for scale from day one. Use streaming for large datasets, batch operations for bulk changes, fast counts for UI, and pagination for web APIs.
Performance Patterns
Streaming (Large Datasets)

Count Strategies
// Fast count (metadata estimate - 1000x+ faster)
