MCP Notion Installer

This skill installs the Notion MCP server into the current project.

Installation Procedure

When the user asks to install Notion MCP:

1. Check for existing .mcp.json in the project root
2. Merge configuration - Add this server to mcpServers:

Environment Variables Required

• NOTION_API_TOKEN: Your Notion integration token
• NOTION_MARKDOWN_CONVERSION: Set to "true" for markdown conversion

Usage After Installation

Restart Claude Code to activate the MCP server.

Example Usage

After installation, use in Claude Code:

"List all pages in my Notion workspace"
"Create a new page titled 'Meeting Notes'"

• Input: User request to install Notion MCP
• Output: Configured .mcp.json with notion server
• Tools Used: Read, Edit, Write
• Chains With: Notion Pro MCP, Notion Internal MCP
