Guidelines

  • Width: Keep under 80 chars for code comments, 120 for documentation
  • Alignment: All box characters assume monospace font
  • ASCII fallback: Use +, -, | when Unicode unavailable
  • Consistency: Pick single or double line style, don't mix within a diagram
